Best of Category/Gold Medal Winner 2021 Competition: Rappahannock Breeze 2020 by Wind Vineyards, VA

At the mouth of the Rappahannock River in Essex County, Wind Vineyards began with 25 acres of grapes in 2018. They now cultivate 23 different varieties. This wine is made with 90% Chambourcin, 5% Concord, and 5% Niagara. Off-dry, with 3.8% rs, hints of pepper, grape, and smoke blend seamlessly.
