Frank Seneca Riesling

Best of Category/Gold Medal Winner 2021 Competition: Riesling Reserve 2020 by Dr. Konstantin Frank, NY

Posted on November 8, 2021 by Mary Ann

Unoaked, but aged on the lees for 5 months, this late-harvest style riesling has 43/gL and a low alc of 11.3%. Crafted from 100% estate-grown Seneca Lake fruit, where the climate is a few degrees warmer than other upstate areas, the wine is medium-sweet and bursting with rich papaya, cantaloupe and honey notes. It is a perfect enhancement to flavorful cheeses and spicy pan Asian cuisine.
